Golf Kenosee -- One of the most scenic championship 18 hole golf greens in Western Canada, Golf Kenosee welcomes visitors to take some time from their busy lives to enjoy the game.  Situated in the Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Golf Kenosee is close to many recreational activities including beaches, camping, water slides, mini golf and trail rides.  At Golf Kenosee, the scenery and the wildlife are as much of an experience as the golf itself!  Set in the heart of the beautiful Moose Mountains, this is unlike almost any other course in the heart of the Prairies.  For tee times please call (306) 577-4422.

White Bear Golf -- Enjoy the best of summer in a beautiful setting when you play at the White Bear Golf Course.  Opened in June 1987, this course is a lushly treed championship-sized 18 hole course which will mark the skills of any player.  Featuring fast bent greens, the only white sand traps in southern Saskatchewan, long challenging fairways and deadly grass bunkers, the course at White Bear is sure to test golfers' skills.  Add to that water hazards and well-placed birch obstacles, and you have a great memorable course to play.  For more information, contact the White Bear Golf Course club house at (306) 577-4902.

Carnduff Golf Club -- As one of Saskatchewan's longest 9 hole courses, it holds plenty of challenge for golfers.  Each year, more and more people in Manitoba and Saskatchewan are discovering this delightful course located in the Southeast corner of the province.

Carlyle Golf & Country Club -- Golfers of all ages will be drawn to the many activities at the Carlyle Golf Club.  The irrigated, lush green nine hole course features carefully planted trees which provide shade and protection from the wind, as well as creating obstacles which make the game more interesting and challenging.  The course offers large new bent grass greens and wide open fairways lined with the many varieties of trees that were planted by local volunteers.  The Community of Carlyle welcomes visitors with over 100 businesses to serve you, making Southeast Saskatchewan the perfect golf/holiday destination.  For more information call the club house at (306) 453-6344.

Moose Creek Regional Park --Golfing fans will have good reason to cheer this summer - a brand new course is in the works at the Moose Creek Regional Park.  The nine hole greens project is part of the complete vacation package underway for the dam area, which achieved regional park status earlier this year.  Players will have to be a bit patient however as the grass was only recently seeded, and the course will not be ready to play until late summer.  For more information on the new course, call Cal Shaw at (306) 489-2044.

MUSEUMS

The Wawota museum is among Saskatchewan's most impressive rural town museums.  Spilling over five buildings, and painstakingly arranged into themed displays, it features interesting and well-preserved antiques accumulated over the past 20 years.  Where many museums have collected relics from their past, Wawota didn't stop there.  The diorama on the second floor represents a great deal of talent and hard work.  It features over 20 species of animals native to the area, preserved and displayed in their natural habitat.

Estevan is home to three museums:  the Estevan Art Gallery & Museum, the Souris Valley Museum and the North West Mounted Police Museum.  The Estevan Art Gallery & Museum includes two art galleries that feature contemporary artwork from regional, national and internationally known artists.
